FAQ

What kind of photos do you take? How do you deliver them?

I love taking images that are clean, vibrant and whimsical, and deliver a variety of candid and gently posed images. 35mm film images are not edited generally (basic adjustments to the overall image may be made when necessary), while digital photos are offered fully edited and can be provided in a mix of color and/or black-and-white at your request.

All images are delivered in a private online gallery, where you can download images at both full resolution and web-size; as well as purchase products & prints from my professional photo lab right from your gallery - no need to make a separate account! All personal-use/non-commercial images are provided at full resolution with a print release.

What are sessions like?

My sessions are easygoing and pretty fun! It's my goal to put my clients at ease during every step of our interactions. I happily offer gentle guidance on posing to help you get the most out of your photos!

You're also welcome to as many outfit changes as you can squeeze in, plus any props you want to bring. For studio sessions I offer a variety of different backdrops and props for you to use.

How should I prepare for my session?

I'll send out an email before the session with tips, such as wardrobe and colors. Generally speaking a little bit fancy (whatever that means for you) is nice. Mostly, just remember that it's going to be fun, and be you!!

Do you travel outside the Seattle area?

Yes! I love to travel. Sign up for my email newsletter for travel specials when I am in your area, or contact me any time to discuss sessions anywhere else in the world!

Do you offer prints or products?

Yes! The only session that automatically includes prints is my Storytelling Portrait Session. However, all sessions include an online gallery in which you can view & directly purchase a variety of prints and products through my professional photo lab; no need to make a separate account! I highly recommend ordering through your gallery I truly believe in the superiority of this lab's print quality!

Do you work with/in the queer community?

Yes! As someone who has several marginalized lived experiences, my motto is solidly love and liberation for all, with an understanding of the different types of systemic harm that people can & do experience. I'm proud to offer my services through a lens of anti-oppression and provide photography to people from all walks of life. It's my goal to create a safe space for everyone to enjoy photos!
